. today some lapd officers and their families are getting extra protection during this manhunt. dorner posted an 11-page manifesto online naming people in the department and blaming them and the department as a whole for essentially ruining his life. he was let go from lapd in 2009 but discharged as a navy reservist just week ago and now investigators say dorner is out to get revenge on officers. >> people with whom he had a grievance were fair game and so were their families and so were any other police officers on or off duty. >> reporter: it's been a very difficult 24 hours for people in riverside county who hold an emotional vigil for officers who were shot. none of the officers have been identified but the officer that died was 34 years old. the other officer in critical condition is expected to survive. shot almost a dozen times. that's a miracle. also overnight, authorities in san diego found another truck they believe is linked to dorner. they are fingerprinting this truck today so we are waiting to hear those results. bottom line, dorner is considered armed and dangerous and a
